What fuels the stock/bond rally?

According to Louis Navellier, there's a record amount of cash on the sidelines, over $2.4 trillion in money market assets.

Money market funds now represent over 28% of the value of the Wilshire 5000, an extremely broad-based stock market index.

Normally, money market assets represent only around 12% of the entire market.

However...

He says that now it's becoming increasingly difficult for banks to sustain high-volume real estate loans and that the real estate market is softening, and many homeowners have already refinanced. He says that real estate is getting soft and real estate lending is slowing down, so banks will have no choice other than to lend to businesses, improving businesses spending.

Louis Navellier is recommending Nissan Motor (NASDAQ: NSANY) at below $16 and Dell Computer (NASDAQ: DELL).

Nissan is recovering from trouble with its new cars (see the new Altima!) and reported a recent 84.5% increase in earnings.

Dell is conquering market share and growing earnings and now is the #1 PC-maker (HP now coming in second) making 5% of the world's PC's. I can tell their computers are loved by the technical support guys in my company. Dell is diversifying its markets and line of products and analysts are expecting the EPS for the current fiscal year to be 99c/share.

Try CMGI as well. Up in high volume just like VNWI

Via Net.works (VNWI) At $1.01 a share is costing less than its $1.62 cash per share. Went up about 20% after a plug on MSN Money, may go up further. The Reston, Va., provider of Internet service to small businesses in Europe and the United States is burning through $8 million per quarter. But it has around $96 million in cash, so it should be able to last until the economy picks up.

Will this be the next REDF or IGLD?

The Swedish company Autoliv (NYSE:ALV, $24.35) developed the active hood system - a computer sensor inside the car bumper that scans for pedestrians about to be impacted and elevate the car hood in order to minimize the pedestrian's impact. The device will be mandatory in European cars by 2005.
