The Russian crisis may be an opportunity. Government made an arrest of a oil magnate alleging tax fraud (very likely, it was politically motivated) and threatened the Yukos oil company. Russian press is accusing the government of "stalinism". This, after a month of Russian stocks declines, may make a lot of folks give up and sell.
I remember that during the Argentina crisis TEOBF.PK was sold at less than $0.4 (now it is $1.45) and after the Indonesia bombing TLK was sold at less than $5.62 (now it is $14.20).
But keep in mind this would be a risky play!
